- Funny you should mention that, since I just got done comparison shopping. The
- cadillac solution on the PC is the Targa 2000, a board that has very similar
- capabilities as the flyer, has about 32 megs of buffer ram on board and also
- functions as your hi-end SVGA card. It runs about $4500. There is also a
- newcomer called Thundervision that has similar specs, but doesn't have any
- audio in, but it interfaces with your digitizing sound card (I think they
- recommend the Turtle Beach Tahiti). It's got a prerelease of $1300 with a
- ship date of end of April (we've heard that before)! Anyway, I've ordered it,
- I'll let you know what it's like when I get it!
